Youth/Sunday School News:                          Fourth Sundays will be set aside for youth meetings from 10:15 - 11:15 a.m.  We will have a short meeting and a fun event each fourth Sunday.  This is open to all 6th - 12th grade. The next meeting will be October 28.

Mid-Week Bible Study:                                (Please Note:) The Bible Study for October 17th has been canceled and will resume on October 24th at the regular time. 
The Mid-Week Bible Study has resumed their study on "World Religions and how thy affect Christians today.  We meet each Wednesday at 7:15pm.  We are continuing our study on LCMS and EICA Lutheran schism.  

Confirmation Class:                                  Due to Pastor gone, Trunk or Treat and the Annual Dinner, confirmation class will not meet.  They will resume on November 11, at the normal time of 11:40am to 12:30pm.
Treak or Treat:
Sunday, October 28 immediately after the 9:00 service please join us for this fun and safe fall tradition.  Children are invited to wear their costumes for the festivities.  Where they can go from car to car trick or treating.  Everyone is welcome to participate by decorating their vehicle and passing out treats to our trick or treaters.  After, plan to enjoy a hot dog lunch provided by the Sunday School.  Make sure not to miss this annual tradition with your church family!

Volunteers Needed:                                     St. Paul's needs two people willing to serve their church as Vice President and a three (3) year Elder.  Please let the Pastor know ASAP.                                                         

Mailboxes:                                                Please remember to look in your mailboxes each week for any mail you may have received.

Annual Ham & Turkey Dinner:                      St. Paul's Turkey & Ham Dinner will be Sunday, November 4 from 11:00am - 2:00pm. The cost is $10.00 for adults and all carry-outs, $5.00 for children age 5-10, children under 5 are free.  The menu is: turkey, ham, real mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, dressing, sauerkraut, green beans, corn, slaw, cranberry sauce, jello, bread, homemade pies and beverage.  The dinner is sponsored by the Ladies Aid.  Don't forget the annual Bazaar and Bake Sale as well.

Operation Christmas Child:                        On October 14, St. Paul's Children's Sunday School packed 182 shoe boxes that will be shipped to children across the world.  We now need your help in providing for shipping.  Each box costs $9.00 to ship.  Please remember to state when giving that your offering is given for shoe box shipping.

Tis the Season!                                         With the crisp fall air and the leaves starting to change colors, the pumpkins and gourds are everywhere, and you can once again enjoy your pumpkin spice beverage, then you know it's time to start thinking about our Annual Sunday School Christmas Program!                                                     It is very important if your child wants to participate in this years program they need to be in Sunday School every Sunday but especially this month (October) so parts can be assigned appropriately.  Sunday School starts at 10:15 and is over around 11:15 (11:30 as the program gets closer).

Cookbooks:                                                      We've included all of the recipes from those members who are no longer with us up through our current congregation.  It is a hard cover 3 ring binder cookbook full of hints, tips, substitutions, and over 650 recipes.
