CHURCH EVENTS TO KEEP IN MIND
Sunday School News: Fourth Sundays are set aside for youth meetings from 10:15 - 11:15 a.m. We will have a short meeting and a fun event each fourth Sunday. This is open to all 6th - 12th grade. The next meeting is October 27, 2019.
Sunday Bible Study & Fellowship: Please join in the fellowship downstairs in the main fellowship hall. Adult Bible Study will follow at 10:30a.m. Bible Studies are an open discussion format where we discuss the readings of the day and how they apply to our daily lives.
Mid-Week Bible Study: The Mid-Week Bible Study will continue to meet each Wednesday evening at 7:00 P.M. The Bible Study is on "Lutheranism 101".
Confirmation Classes: Due to Trunk or Treat and the Annual Dinner, there will be no confirmation class until November 10th.
Trunk or Treat: St. Paul's Sunday School will have their annual "Trunk or Treat" on Sunday, October 27, at 10:00 A.M. They invite all to decorate their trunks.
Annual Turkey & Ham Dinner: St. Paul's annual "Turkey & Ham Dinner" will be Sunday, November 3, from 11:30am to 2:00pm. On the Menu: Turkey, Ham, Real Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Sweet Potatoes, dressing, sauerkraut, green beans, corn, cole slaw, cranberry salad, applesauce, J-ello, homemade rolls and pies and a drink. Cost is: $10.00 for adults and all carry-outs, $5.00 for children age 5-10, and children under 5 are free.
There will be a Bazaar and bake sale as well.
Proceeds from this event will benefit local families in need this Christmas season and repairs on the parking lot.
Hanging of the Greens Service: St. Paul's will have the "Hanging of the Greens" Service on November 24, at 9:00am. This meaningful service will aid all in the preparation of Christmas season.
Volunteers Needed: St. Paul's needs three people willing to serve their church as Vice President and three (3) year Elder. Please let the Pastor know ASAP.

Cookbooks: We've included all of the recipes from those members who are no longer with us up through our current congregation. It is a hard cover 3 ring binder cookbook full of hints, tips, substitutions, and over 650 recipes.

Operation Christmas Child-Shoe box Items: Sunday School and Youth group are again supporting Operation Christmas Child. Last year we sent out 182 boxes! Each month we will bring in supplies to fill our boxes. Try to bring 1-2 things in each month!
October - Plastic Totes (shoe-box size), regular shoe-boxes, & money.
Make sure everything your bring is new. Check out those clearance aisles!
